Design your icon set
Icons are everywhere in our lives. From street signs to food packaging. But what differentiates an icon from an illustration? How can we ensure that we are effectively communicating our message to the audience?
The workshop
During my first months at Inviqa I noticed that colleagues would often ask me to produce icons or they would download inconsistent artefacts from the web.
This inspired me to run a workshop/training for all designers at Inviqa;
This workshop was delivered in two sessions for a total of 4 hours. Both sessions were followed by hand-ons activities.
The first session focussed on icon history, significance, and drawing practise.
The second session covered icons as a set, designing consistently, managing sets and guiding and delivering asset to developers.
